INFESTOIDS
When a crew of tough-as-nails space janitors is sent to clean up a derelict research ship drifting in deep space, they think it’s just another “mop and go” corporate contract. But when the crew of misfit women and their sleazy supervisor start uncovering the grisly remains of an abandoned experiment strange eggs, alien slime, and the remains of space marines. It’s clear something went horribly wrong. The mission quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival as the cleanup team realizes they’re not alone aboard the Gollum Globus… and what’s lurking in the dark is very much awake.
A grotesque hybrid of sci-fi, horror, and dark comedy, INFESTOIDS drips with neon ooze, practical effects, and grindhouse attitude. The survivors must face wave after wave of zombified crewmates and mutant bug-creatures spawned from forbidden genetic experiments gone wrong. Their only hope: fight through the slime-covered corridors, arm up with whatever weapons they can find, and pray for a rescue that may never come.
From Newt Wallen and Schlock and Awe Films, INFESTOIDS delivers a blood-soaked homage to Aliens, Galaxy of Terror, and The Thing complete with strong heroines, sleazy corporate overlords, and a storm of splattering sci-fi mayhem. It’s a pulpy, claustrophobic nightmare filled with monsters, one-liners, and enough slime to fill a swimming pool.
